The Greek digital pay-TV platform Nova, which is backed by Forthnet, now has over 500,000 subscribers.
Launched in 1999, it was the first service in the country to offer HD content (2010) and produce and broadcast in 3D (2011).
More recently, it introduced the OTT service Nova GO, which gives subscribers to the Novasports and Novacinema channels access to live TV and on demand.
Nova is currently gaining close to 110,000 new subscribers each year and helping to grow pay-TV penetration in Greece, which now exceeds 20%.
