September 26, 2014 10.53 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

LeviraLevira has signed a cooperation agreement with the Estonian Basketball Association to broadcast all Alexela Basketball Premier League matches in the country for the next three seasons.

The matches will be shown on TV6.

Commenting on the deal, Mart Einpalu, CEO of Levira, said: “We are extremely glad to be bringing the broadcasts to the Estonian TV audience. Alexela’s decision to work with Levira is a great sign of trust for us and acknowledgement of our good work.”

Priit Leito, CEO of TV3, added: “TV3 and TV6 are very happy to have Levira on board. They are the most professional TV broadcast transmission provider in Estonia, having huge experience in broadcasting various major events, including EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania.”

Keio Kuhi, secretary general of the Estonian Basketball Association, said: “Alexela Basketball Premier League attracts the highest audience figures and also a large audience on spot. Our wish is to have the best TV production service provider in Estonia to transmit the broadcasts, and I believe the cooperation agreement with Levira will guarantee that in the coming three seasons.”
