Komtech Group, owner of Swiss cable networks Telekabel Arbon, Schefer and Grischa Vision, has decided to sell 100% of its shares to Switzerland’s largest cable company UPC Cablecom.
Financial details have not been disclosed. The three local players which have been long-time partners of UPC Cablecom serve around 23,000 households with telecommunications services in the regions Oberthurgau, Rorschach and Graubünden.
In addition to the TV offering, UPC Cablecom will provide the customers from January 1, 2015 with telephony and internet services (up to 250Mbps) as well as its new video-on-demand service MyPrime comprising movies, series, documentaries and children’s programmes.
