Around 100,000 customers in Norway will benefit from the introduction of Android devices to the Get TV service.
Get product director Torbjørn Aamodt explained the iOS version had long been one of the most popular apps for the iPhone and iPad in Norway. The Android edition, available as of Friday, is suitable for version 4.2 and higher.
It is free to download Get tv in the Apple App Store and Android Market.
Meanwhile, the version for iPad and iPhone updated to support iOS 8.
