US subscription video-on-demand provider Netflix has made its service available in Switzerland, thereby completing its roll-out across all three German-speaking countries in Europe.
The OTT platform which launched in Germany and Austria earlier this week is offered in Switzerland for subscription fee starting at CHF11.90 (€9.85) per month.
Like in the neighbouring countries, Netflix users in the Alpine republic can access movies, series, comedy shows, documentaries and children’s programmes using a connected TV set, tablet, smartphone, computer, blu-ray player or games console.
The line-up available at www.netflix.ch contains several series that have not been shown in Switzerland so far, for example Orange Is the New Black, BoJack Horseman, Fargo, From Dusk Till Dawn and Penny Dreadful.
Swiss original productions are not offered at this stage.
