The music broadcaster Ocko has become the first TV station in the Czech Republic to offer an HbbTV live video stream.
Called Ocko Expres and distributing its third channel, it is available to smart TV owners in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia via DVB-T.
Ocko, along with the public broadcaster Ceske Televize (CT), is one of the pioneers of HbbTV in the Czech Republic.
In a separate development, the national commercial broadcaster Prima has begun an HbbTV trial on the regional multiplex 12, which serves the capital, Prague.
