Ukraine has banned the terrestrial and cable retransmission of 15 Russian channels.
The move, which ProIT reports has been made in accordance with decisions by the regulator (National Council) and Kiev District Administrative Court, affects First Channel World Network, RTR Planeta, NTV Mir, Rossiya 24, TVC1, Rossiya 1, NTV, TNT, Petersburg 5, Zvezda, Ren TV, Life News, Russia Today and Historia.
Separately, Ukraine and Spain have agreed to work together in the fields of cinema and TV.
In a meeting between the president of the National Council and Spanish ambassador to Ukraine, the possibility of creating a fund to help show Spanish films and TV series on Ukrainian TV was also discussed.
