Ukraine’s National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting (‘National Council’) has awarded a 10-year satellite licence to a new channel named Indigo TV.
Operated by Media Group Ukraine, it will be an encrypted, 24-hour service distributed by Astra 4A.
Indigo TV takes its name from Indigo children and its blue-coloured design.
It will be aimed principally at a female and family audience and offer programmes with educational and scientific themes, as well as relationships and childcare. Media Group Ukraine is effectively replacing a channel named Kinochka, which is licensed for DTT distribution, with Indigo TV.
