The Spanish regulator CNMC has imposed fines totaling €386,902 on Mediaset, Atresmedia and NET TV.
In a statement, it says that the three broadcasters have violated several articles on the Law on Audiovisual Communication related to the maximum time allocated to advertising and the type of content broadcast at certain times.
Mediaset was fined €170,400 for minor ad violations on the channels Telecinco and Cuatro, as well as serious violation in broadcasting a programme on Telecinco unsuitable for minors.
Atresmedia meanwhile was fined €205,500 for two minor ad time violations and one serious programme violation on Antena 3 and NET TV €13,002 for four minor ad time violations.
