French international news channel France 24 has launched a new app on TiVo set-top boxes.
The app is now available to 400,000 ONO TiVo subscribers in Spain, where the channel is available in English, and over 2,3 million Virgin Media TiVo customers in the UK, where both the French and Ebglish versions are distributed on the network.
Developed by DotScreen, this new application gives free access to all France 24 programmes on demand in French and English (news bulletins, weather forecast, reports, debates, sports, etc.) up until three weeks following their initial broadcast.
Accessible from the ONO homepage of the TiVo platform, this application also offers France 24 live streams in French and English as well as a quick overview of the headlines of the day through the ‘News in Pictures’ section.
On Virgin Media TiVo, the France 24 app offers the same service and is available via the apps and games menu as well as the Red Button on the linear channel.
