Romania’s National Audiovisual Council (CNA) has made a number of rulings related to TV channels available in the country.
According to Mediafax, it has firstly given Moldova 1, a public channel based in neighbouring Moldova, must-carry status on cable networks in Romania.
Secondly, it has approved the transfer of the licence of Fishing and Hunting TV (PV TV) to the Fishing & Hunting Channel.
The CNA has also been notified by Koolnet Zone, which owns the channels Look TV and Look Plus, that it plans to launch a VOD service.
Known as Koolnet, it will show matches from Liga 1, Romania’s premier football league.
In a separate development, Mediafax reports that HBO Comedy, Cinemax and Cinemax 2 are to become available in HD in Romania from this month.
