German family channel Super RTL has acquired a movie package from Splendid Animation, a new label of German movie rights dealer Splendid Film.
The agreement of which financial details have not been disclosed contains the exclusive free-to-air TV rights for current theatrical releases as well as classics.
The bouquet includes, for example, animated movie Escape from Planet Earth (USA 2013) and future productions like Yellowbird (France 2014) and Wish (USA 2015).
