Cyfrowy Polsat ended Q2 with 4,255,544 pay-TV RGUs, or 3.1% more than in the same period last year.
Of these, 771,481 (+21.8%) opted for its Multiroom service.
As a result, its pay-TV subscriber total stood at 3,484,063.
In the pre-paid sector, it had an average of 79,253 pay-TV RGUs, or 7.3% more than a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the smartDOM service had over 300,000 subscribers.
Cyfrowy Polsat’s results have for the first time being consolidated with those of Polkomtel, which it acquired following the closing of a deal with Metelem Holdings Company Limited in May this year.
Cyfrowy Polsat had revenues of PLN1,466 million (€349.6 million) in the second quarter, up 204% on a year earlier.
EBITDA amounted to PLN593 million (+271%) and its net profit of PLN162 million was 43% down on Q2 2013.
