August 15, 2014 08.09 Europe/London By Robert Briel

“We are delighted that we can now offer Toshiba customers and Toshiba retailers easy access to this comprehensive selection of diaspora channels, and will announce more structural partnerships for content and distribution over the upcoming weeks,” said Southern Cloud’s CEO David Vargas-Racero.

Cloudio TV’s VP of Business strategy Marc Van Steyvoort added: “Cloudio TV is honoured to partner with Toshiba, the proven leader in delivering compelling innovative TV screens worldwide. It is essential for Cloudio TV, as exclusive rights holder of a wide range of diaspora content portfolio, to partner with global leaders in the ongoing TV revolution, especially as worldwide sales of all Internet-enabled TVs will by-pass 120 million in 2014 and more Internet-enabled TVs will be sold than traditional TVs by 2015”

Cloudio TV’s chief architect development Rubin Gjerovski: “We are very pleased to have Toshiba as cooperating partner. The cooperation with Toshiba and it’s highly skilled technical partner NGine Networks, was a real pleasure and enabled both teams to go live in only a few weeks. Thanks to their confidence in us, Cloudio TVs diaspora app will now be accessible to a wider audience than ever before.”
