The OTE-backed Romanian incumbent Romtelecom saw its TV subscriber total increase by 6.8% in the year to June 30.
Encompassing DTH, IPTV and cable, the figure stood at 1,384,100 as of the end of the second quarter.
TV revenues were meanwhile up by 4% over the same period. OTE itself had 295,845 IPTV and DTH subscribers in its home market as of the end of Q2, a 69.1% increase on a year earlier.
It added 17,000 customers in just the second quarter.
OTE had revenues of €950.6 million in Q2, a 5.2% reduction on a year earlier.
EBITDA fell by 1.2% in the same period to €342.5 million, while net income increased by 21.1% to €69.3 million.
