UPC Czech Republic has added HBO GO to its offer.
According to the cable operator, it is being made available free of charge to all digital TV subscribers or those who are receiving HBO, HBO HD, Superfilm and Supreme.
It adds that the service gives access to HBO’s video library, which contains over 1,000 titles, and can be viewed on up to four devices.
It also says that HBO’s film library contains up to 1,500 hours of content.
Commenting on the launch, Jason King, VP of marketing and sales at UPC Czech Republic, said that the operator understands about changes in its customers’ viewing habits and so wants to offer them programmes on multiple devices and at the time of their choice.
“HBO GO is the first example of such an approach and we want to continue this trend in the future”.
Ivan Sevcik, country manager for HBO Czech Republic, meanwhile said that it is “delighted to give UPC customers access to HBO GO”, adding that the service responds to viewers’ changing habits and needs.
