The Slovak pay-DTT service Plustelka is expanding its coverage in the east of the country.
In a statement, it says that this will follow on from two technical adjustments to the most important transmitter in the region, located at Kosice-Dubnik, which will be made on August 12 and 13.
The first change will result in the fourth multiplex increasing its reach to Presov, Trebisov and surrounding areas, allowing viewers to receive a multitude of FTA and pay-DTT channels.
CT1, CT2, TV Lux and Slovak Sport 1 will supplement the current offer of FTA services, while Plustelka will offer viewers Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Film+, Viasat Explorer, Viasat History, Viasat Nature, Nickelodeon, VH1 and Spice for a low monthly.
It adds that viewers can receive Plustelka is through a Zircon T3000HD set-top box or via a module for their TVs.
The second stage will see the second national multiplex switch its distribution from the transmitter in Kosice-Makovica to Dubnik.
The latter will then distribute all four multiplexes, carrying both FTA channels and Plustelka, allowing for better reception.
