The German adaption of Endemol’s reality series Celebrity Big Brother (in German: Promi Big Brother) which will launch on August 15, 2014 at 20.15 CET on commercial TV channel Sat.1 will be accompanied by a live-stream at maxdome.
The video-on-demand (VOD) portal operated by German media group ProSiebenSat.1 will offer exclusive 24 hour per day live coverage of the happenings in the house. Access to the OTT live-stream for the full 15 day period costs €15.99 (restricted to adults).
Sat.1’s Celebrity Big Brother evening shows can also be watched on-demand at maxdome following their TV broadcast. Last year, pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland showed Celebrity Big Brother live on a stand-alone channel.
Another partner is ProSiebenSat.1’s women’s channel sixx which will show the events in the house each day from midnight for 90 minutes free of charge.
It has not yet been revealed which contestants have agreed to take part.
