Austria’s largest cable operator UPC Austria has expanded its video-on-demand (VOD) service by sports programmes from German pay-TV channels Sport1+ und Sport1 US.
The line-up comprises, for example, international football, basketball, motor sports and extreme sports.
Sport1+ contributes, among other content, games from the UK’s Premier League, Italian and French football championships Coppa Italia and Coupe de France, the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), car show Die PS Profis and all matches of darts tournament World Matchplay as well as the Darts World Cup and Darts European Cup.
The content provided by Sport1 US includes the Indy Car Series, the College Basketball and College Football leagues, Major League Soccer (MLS), motor sports series AMA Motocross SX, monster truck show Monster Jam, Rodeo event Bullriding and extreme sports show Action Sport World.
UPC Austria customers signed up to subscription package UPC TV Plus can access the VOD content from Sport1+ and Sport1 US at no extra charge.
