The Ukrainian incumbent Ukrtelekom has launched an IPTV service in partnership with OLL.TV.
Known as ‘Interactive TV’, it offers viewers over 130 TV channels, 10,000 movies and high quality series, with some of the content being in HD.
Also available are such features as catch-up and control, with the service being available in 175 population centres in 13 regions of Ukraine.
Interactive TV’s ‘Start’ package consists of 79 Ukrainian channels, along with 48 films and TV series on a monthly basis, and costs UAH39 (€2.4) a month to receive.
The ‘Optimum’ package meanwhile offers 100 national and foreign channels, along with access to 10,000 movies, series and shows, for UAH79 a month, and ‘Premium’ to 136 national and foreign channels, 12 in HD, along with the full movie, series and show offer, for UAH159 a month.
The connection fee is UAH1 and a TV console costs UAH1.2, with customers required to enter into a two-year contract to receive the service.
OLL.TV is operated by Media Group Ukraine (MGU) and has just transformed it from an online movie offer into a full interactive digital TV service.
