French online streaming live TV portal Play TV has added 17 new channels bringing the total to more than 90 channels.
Among the new channels that were added are news channels Al Jazeera, both in English and in Arabic, TVC News (Nigeria), Deutsche Welle (Germany) available in English, Arabic and Spanish; Espreso TV (Ukraine), and Turkish channel Ulke TV.
Play TV is a French website which streams live TV channels. It was founded in 2009 by Play Media. It offers legal access, free and unlimited to more than 90 channels. Amongst them, all channels from public broadcaster France Télévisions in its entirety and also some digital terrestrial FYTTA channels such as Arte, BFMTV and I-Télé. The website totals 2,5 million of monthly unique visitors and ten million of channel starts per month.
And finally, TeleSUR (Venezuela); Canal Atlas (Morocco); the two main public Turkish channels: TRT1 and TRT Turk, as well as Yurdum TV.
Nine new entertainment channels were also added: Iranian IFilm channel; Heya TV – Arab Woman, the Lebanese lifestyle channel; Dating TV (French dating channel); Hi-Tech channel Ouatch TV; God TV (Evangelical); Kanal Avrupa offering Turkish sitcoms; and the music channel TVT.
