Swiss commercial TV broadcaster 3 Plus Group will launch its third channel on September 11, 2014.
5+ will mainly show series and documentaries, according to Dominik Kaiser, managing director of 3 Plus Group.
The schedule will comprise, for example, series like Elementary, Person of Interest and Anger Management as well as documentaries such as Gold Rush Alaska, Imperium and Planet Dinosaur.
5+ will be offered in HD quality from day one and will be available on the digital platforms of UPC Cablecom, Swisscom TV and Quickline, among others.
3 Plus Group already operates 3+ which mainly shows original productions and international series and movie channel 4+.
