July 11, 2014 08.14 Europe/London By Robert Briel

TG4 appTV App Agency reaches 25 apps on Opera TV Store with the launch of the TG4 app.

Through their cooperation with Opera Software, TV App Agency has delivered smart TV apps to devices such as Sony, Hisense, Mediatek, Humax, Samsung, TCL, Swisscom, Changhong, TiVo, Amino, Konka and Skyworth. The Opera TV Store is already deployed globally with some of the world’s biggest TV and connected device manufacturers.

Irish broadcaster TG4 is the latest customer to benefit from this partnership, with the app now available across all the major smart TV platforms and devices featuring the Opera TV Store. TG4 is now the 25th app developed by TV App Agency in the Opera TV Store, with more currently in development scheduled to be available on the platform soon.

TV App Agency have also developed apps for brands such as Coca-Cola, Pelmorex Media Inc., National Film Board, Global Radio, CBN, La Cascara.tv, NRJ, Mundo Deportivo, La Vanguardia, 20 Minutos and Karnaval.

“Opera has been a great partner to us with this constant growth of OEMs offering the Opera TV Store, and has enabled us to provide more and more reach for each of our customers,” explained Bruno Pereira, TV App Agency co-founder and director.

Daniel Nordberg, Head of Content Acquisition for TV & Devices at Opera Software, added, “TV App Agency has reached a milestone in helping bring exciting and diverse content to the Opera TV Store, providing even more entertainment options to Opera TV Store viewers in millions of living rooms across the globe.”
