Jens Schulte-Bockum will continue to head Vodafone Deutschland until March 31, 2018 as the telco’s supervisory board has extended the CEO’s contract by three years at its latest assembly in Düsseldorf.
“We are glad to continue the collaboration with Jens Schulte-Bockum,” said Philipp Humm, chairman of the supervisory board. He added that the CEO managed to strategically reposition Vodafone Deutschland in a strong competition environment and inaugurated a new era in the German telecommunications and TV market with the recently commenced integration of the country’s largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland.
Schulte-Bockum has been CEO of Vodafone in Germany since 2012. He previously headed Vodafone in the Netherlands.
