The new Czech station TV Praha has made its debut, employing frequencies previously used by TV Metropol.
According to local reports, this follows the award of a licence by the country’s Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting (RRTV) at the end of June.
TV Praha, which is on air for 24 hours daily, is operated by the Czechoslovak Film Company ((Ceskoslovenské filmové spolecnosti) and TV Polar.
It is distributed by the regional multiplex 4, which covers Prague and central Bohemia.
