Hols new SVP and general manager VIMN Benelux

Maurice HolsViacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has appointed Maurice Hols as the new SVP and general manager VIMN Benelux with immediate effect.

Hols is currently responsible for the Comedy & Entertainment content cluster in Northern Europe.

In his new position he will be responsible for all linear basic and digital channels of the VIMN portfolio including brands such as Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon. He is also responsible for MTV Mobile and all 50 digital and online propositions in the Benelux. Hols remains, in his new role, part of the management team of VIMN Northern Europe.

“After successfully building the Comedy Central brand in Northern Europe, I am pleased that Maurice to take this new role and challenge,” said Magnus Kastner, managing director and EVP VIMN Northern Europe.

“He will be responsible for all VIMN brands in the Benelux. We see a great opportunity in the local expansion of our international business with Maurice and his international experience, he knows exactly where the opportunities lie with our viewers, partners and advertisers.”

Maurice Hols: “I’ve been working on expanding the footprint Comedy Central the last eight years at the international level. I look forward to bringing with these experience the VIMN Benelux portfolio to the next level in the ever-changing media landscape. Together with my management team, our sales organisations Brand Deli in the Netherlands and SBS in Belgium, and with the North VIMN Senior Management team, this is the next step in the evolution of brands like Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon.”
