Vivendi, Altice and Numericable have confirmed a definitive agreement in the sale of the SFR mobile network to Numericable.
It follows what the parties are describing as a “very constructive dialogue” with Employee Works Councils.
Vivendi opted for a deal with Altice-Numericable on April 5 having rejected a rival offer from Bouyges.
Under the deal Vivendi, which also owns the Canal Plus Group, will receive €13.5 billion. It will retain a 20% stake in the new combination that will be held for a one-year lock up period.
The deal is still dependent on the approval of the relevant authorities.
