The Horizon TV app has already been downloaded 50,000 times in Poland in the three weeks since its launch.
Available through Google Play and the App store, it gives UPC Polska subscribers access to almost 100 TV channels, including TVP1, TVP2, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment, Eurosport, Eurosport 2 and Discovery Channel, as well as several hundred movies and programmes on demand, on smartphones, tablets and PCs.
On May 21, Poland became the fifth Liberty Global market after the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland and Germany to introduce Horizon TV.
