Brescia-based Screen Service Broadcasting Technology has put its wholly owned subsidiary Tivuitalia up for sale.
Tivuitalia operates a nation-wide network with a multiplex of DTT channels, consisting of four free-to-air-channels, Planeta TV, Mediatext.it, Italia Channel, and Teletevere.
The operator suffered heavy losses and has asked the Court of Brescia, Bankruptcy Section, to sell its assets.
According to the filing, the company for sale includes all permits, licences, certifications, rights of use related to the business, including concessions of use issued by the Ministry of Economic Development. The company currently employs three people.
The operator uses the Astra satellite at 31.5 degrees East for its contribution network.
