Mathias Brandauer, previously director legal B2C, has become the new head of the legal department of UPC Austria as of June 1.
As the new senior director legal & regulatory and general counsel, Brandauer will be responsible for all legal matters of Austria’s largest cable operator.
In this function, Brandauer has replaced Dr Michael Czermak who will become vice-president legal/business development for business services at the European headquarters of UPC’s parent company Liberty Global in Amsterdam in July 2014.
Brandauer, who has been working for UPC Austria since 2005, will also succeed Czermak in the position of compliance officer.
