The Lithuanian incumbent Teo has appointed Andrius Semeskevicius the head of its Technology and IT Division.
He will join its management team in August and will be responsible for development of technologies, management of information systems and infrastructure, technological basis for services.
Semeskevicius will join the company from the Rimi Baltic Group, where he has spent nine years, the last six of which he was IT director for Baltic countries. He has also worked as the IT director for two other companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Kestutis Sliuzas, Teo’s general manager, said: “Teo will give more attention and investment in development of IT services. I am glad that Andrius will bring to Teomanagement team his experience and competences from IT field. I hope that with him we will be able to focus more on customer experience, to offer more technological innovations and solutions that they need.”
Semeskevicius said: “It is an interesting opportunity for me to use my competence not only to implement IT solutions, but also to create them, adapt to the needs of customer. Until now I was working with Teoand other telecommunications and IT companies as a client, using the technological solutions they provide in business. This experience will be an asset: understanding what customers of the company need, I will be able to adjust the services and accommodate their wishes better.”
