Magyar Telekom accounted for over one in three (35.7%) of fixed broadband connections in Hungary this April, according to the latest data published by the regulator NMHH.
UPC (21.9%) and Digi (14%) were in second and third place respectively, with Invitel (9.5%), Tarr (2.6%) and PR-Telekom (2.1%) the next largest players.
The number of cable broadband subscriptions stood at 979,776, of which 462,186 were via DOCSIS 3.0.
The FTTx total stood at 366,052, while 770,085 subscribers opted to receive their broadband service via xDSL.
