The sale of Antenna Hungária to the Hungarian state should be completed on May 30.
Quoting Világgazdaság, BBJ reports that the National Development Ministry (NFM), jointly with National Infocommunications Service Zrt. (NISZ), started the transfer of Antenna Hungária on April 26.
The closure on May 30 will be in line with expectations and regardless of the transfer “services will continue uninterrupted”.
The Ministry added that Antenna Hungária is a public service company of strategic importance and will serve the aims of the government more efficiently under state ownership. No large-scale developments affecting the company’s operation are planned at this time.
The NISZ acquired Antenna Hungária from France’s TDF for HUF56 billion (€184.2 million).
