The Washington Post is expanding its online video reach by launching PostTV on Opera Software’s app platform for Smart TV.
PostTV, the online home for Washington Post video, is making a new home in the Opera TV Store thanks to Opera TV Snap technology.
The PostTV initiative features short-form videos from the newsroom of The Washington Post. Opera TV Store viewers can follow the latest US and international news via PostTV’s coverage, which includes political insights, business, entertainment and sports content.

“The Opera TV Store seeks to bring a variety of high-quality apps and on-demand video content to armchairs across the globe, including top news and current affairs,” said Michael Winneker, senior manager of content acquisition for TV abd devices, Opera Software.
