German cable operator Unitymedia will offer its customers in federal states North-Rhine Westphalia and Hessen series from BBC Worldwide on its video-on-demand (VOD) service in future.
The Liberty Global subsidiary has formed a corresponding partnership with the commercial arm of the UK’s public broadcaster.
The line-up which will become available on the VOD service in the next weeks and months contains series such as Sherlock, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Office and Luther. Award-winning documentaries will be added as well.
