Poland’s ZPR Media Group has added HbbTV signaling to the TV channels VOX Music TV, Polo TV and Fokus TV, broadcast from Eutelsat Hotbird 13 at 13 degrees East.
Hybrid TV expert Pawel Tutka says that the HbbTV screen app screen shot from the music TV channel VOX Music TV is similar to HbbTV apps from Eska TV.
He adds that the VOX Music TV app gives access to weather (VOD) and news supplied by the editorial at Super Express.
ZPR Media Group is currently trying to secure carriage of VOX Music TV on digital cable networks.
Tutka says that ZPR Media Group’s introduction of HbbTV on its channels indicates that it is treating HbbTV seriously as a platform to build interactive TV services.
As a result, Eska TV, Polo TV and VOX Music TV differ significantly from other music channels available to Polish viewers.
