GameTree TV comes to Panasonic’s Viera TVs

May 14, 2014 09.24 Europe/London By Robert Briel

GameTree on Panasonic VieraTransGaming has announced the availability of GameTree TV on Panasonic’s Viera smart TVs with internet apps capability.

“With the addition of another industry titan in Panasonic, GameTree TV has become the industry standard platform for family friendly social games for smart TVs,” said Vikas Gupta, CEO and president of TransGaming.

“The proliferation of GameTree TV on Smart TVs shows a validation of a growing market and passionate demand for our service.”

Panasonic offers a wide range of 4K and HD TVs with Life+ Screen, a concept that enables owners of Viera TVs to enjoy a variety of internet-based video-on-demand content and applications, from news and fitness to social networking, music and online shopping and gaming. The same platform has been expanded for other Panasonic home entertainment products, including Blu-ray Disc players and home theatre systems.

“GameTree TV delivers an incredible option for Panasonic owners to play family friendly social games in their living room,” said Jordan Shen, director, interactive content and services, Panasonic Corporation of North America.

“We continue to expand our content and services for Panasonic TVs and GameTree TV brings an added dimension of entertainment through beautifully designed games built from the ground-up for the smart TV space.”
