Swiss TV24 goes on air

logotv24hdThe new Swiss commercial television channel TV24 has launched on May 12, 2014 at 20.15 CET.

The Zurich-based broadcaster which offers a general interest service comprising news, movies, series, sports, documentaries, reportages and original productions is distributed by cable operators, IPTV providers and internet TV platforms in Switzerland.

The carriage partners include UPC Cablecom, Sunrise TV, Quickline, Zattoo, Wilmaa and Teleboy. The channel is available in HD quality from day one.

On its website, TV24 provides a catch-up service on which viewers can watch selected programmes in full length after their broadcast free of charge.

TV24 is operated by Swiss media group AZ Medien which also runs local TV channels TeleZüri, Tele M1 and TeleBärn.
