Sky Österreich, the Austrian branch of German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland, has equipped 10 restaurants and pubs at Vienna’s airport with its complete sports TV line-up.
The more than 60,000 travellers and visitors per day can receive all games of the UEFA Champions League as well as the Austrian and German football Bundesliga live at the Sky sports bars.
The offering also includes the UEFA Europa League, the UK’s Premier League, the DFB Cup, Formula 1, golf, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and US sports. Sports news channel Sky Sports News HD is also part of the package.
“Sky’s large live sports proposition will offer airport guests exciting entertainment during their waiting time 24 hours per day and provide additional guests and turnover for the gastronomy”, said Gerald Mondl, head of sales business solutions at Sky Österreich.
