The restructuring at Romania’s Pro TV has got under way with the sacking of its entire PR department.
Paginamedia reports that all 10 employees, handling communications for the channels owned by CME-backed Pro TV – Pro TV, Acasa, Pro Cinema, Sport.ro, as well as its radio stations – were given no reasons for their dismissal and told to vacate their offices in 30 minutes.
It adds that the next department to be targeted by the restructuring process is likely to be the Promo Department, which has 20 employees.
It has been reported that the restructuring may affect up to 200 of its employees, of half of the total, working for Pro TV.
