NetRange, a German provider of portal solutions for connected TV sets, will distribute the major events of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) to connected devices including the next two World Championships.
The OTT service is based on a partnership NetRange set up with sports marketing agency Total Sports Asia.
The new table tennis app will initially be available on NetRange portals. It will also cover highlights from previous events such as the World Table Tennis Championships Rotterdam, World Team Table Tennis Championships Dortmund, World Table Tennis Championships Paris and the World Junior Table Tennis Championships.
“There is a huge global audience interested in table tennis. We now have the ideal instrument to play our role in bringing this great sports to fans around the world,” Jan Wendt, CEO of NetRange, said in Hamburg.
