YFE launches yourfamily in Africa

Your Family EntertainmentGerman media company Your Family Entertainment (YFE) has launched an international feed in English language of its children’s and family channel yourfamily which is at first available in Africa.

The channel is distributed on African pay-TV platform AzamTV, marking its first expansion beyond Europe. Later this year, an Arabic version will follow.

The channel which launched in 2007 and targets children up to 13 years of age and their parents is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in France and Central Europe. Besides yourfamily, Munich-based YFE also operates free-to-air children’s and family channel RiC.
