Video service providers can save on high storage costs, reduce network bandwidth and future-proof on-demand multiscreen deployments by using RGB’s second generation Video Multiprocessing Gateway, which offers high-density transcoding without compromising on video quality. Seamless conversion between codecs, without impacting on quality, is required in a world of ‘abundance of delivery protocols and content rights management’.
