Cable Europe has appointed Virginia Lee as its director of communications.
Lee has spent much of her career as a corporate communications specialist within the media industry, with experience encompassing the regulatory, trade association, public and private sectors.
Prior to her role at Cable Europe she has held the positions of director of communications and public policy at Discovery Networks Europe, head of corporate affairs for the Granada Media Group, and spokesperson for the Independent Television Commission.
She has also worked as a communications and government affairs consultant to the UK’s Satellite and Cable Broadcasters’ Group, the European Centre for Public Affairs, and on behalf of Albany Associates in the United Arab Emirates and in Kosovo.
