Ekioh wins Queen’s Award for International Trade

Ekioh WeatherEkioh, best known as the company behind the most widely-deployed Scalable Vector Graphics engine, has won the Queen’s Award for International Trade.

Over the last three years the Cambridge company has grown overseas earnings by 216%. Ekioh was recognised for single products, technical excellence and effective business relationships.

“We’re delighted to have been given this prestigious award,” Said Piers Wombwell, CEO at Ekioh, “It is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and dedication of everyone here at Ekioh.”

Ekioh’s user interface software is at the heart of many of the world’s fastest growing TV networks. Its design enables operators to deliver visually compelling user interfaces are competitively priced consumer electronic products.

“We’d like to send a heartfelt thanks to all our customers and partners, as it is Their successful use of our products All which underpins our business growth,” said Stephen Reeder, commercial director, Ekioh.
