Monday, April 14, Dutch police arrested a 33-year-old man from Apeldoorn at Schiphol Airport. He is seen as a key suspect in a fraud case of card sharing.
In the autumn of 2013, there were seven suspects arrested in this investigation.
The police and the Public Prosecution East Netherlands have long been engaged in a study of card sharing fraud. This was done in response to reports of two Dutch providers and Irdeto.
On December 3, 2013 four men and one woman from Enschede, The Hague, and Vlagtwedde were arrested. Earlier, two women from Enschede were also arrested. The 33 -year-old from Apeldoorn remained untraceable until Monday, when he was entering the Netherlands
Upon checking his passport, the Royal Military Police detained him.
The investigation is still ongoing, Dutch police said they are still working on identifying the people who have bought card-sharing subscriptions.
