UPC Polska has launched a new network of hotspots named UPC Wi-Free.
Initially operating in Sopot on the Baltic coast but in due course to be rolled out in other parts of Poland, it provides internet access to subscribers who already opt for an internet package of 30 Mbps or higher. The service is based on shared access to customers’ home routers and is already in use in the Netherlands.
Separately, Vectra has announced that it will add the channels Fokus TV and VOX Music TV to its offers on April 28.
It will be the second time this month that the cableco has added to its offer, with Stopklatka TV, Stars.TV and TVR Polska Telewizja having joined the line-up on April 16.
