The Romanian regulator ANCOM has suspended the activities of 49 electronic communications providers for a period of 60 days.
In a statement, it adds that the action has been taken for them failing to comply with their obligations of sending statistical data for the first half of 2013.
ANCOM adds that following the expiry of the deadline for sending the data, it communicated suspension decisions to 187 providers and gave them 45 days to fulfill their obligations.
The 49 that are now suspended will have their suspensions lifted once they comply, within the period of 60 days.
Those that do not will have their right to offer electronic communications services withdrawn.
