The political and economic crisis affecting Ukraine has had a direct impact on the country’s TV industry, with the DTH platform Lybid TV forced to go off the air and filing for bankruptcy.
Lybid TV issued an initial statement on April 9 and subsequently provided subscribers details about how they could obtain refunds for their reception equipment.
The DTH platform Xtra TV has since announced a special offer targeting Lybid TV subscribers.
Lybid TV was launched in July 2013 and is believed to have had only around 50,000 subscribers when it ceased operations.
