The leading Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has entered into a licence agreement with Paramount Pictures.
Valid for two years from the end of last month, it encompasses over 150 movies, which Tricolor will be able to show on an exclusive basis, in its SuperKino HD premium package, with all new releases appearing after their theatrical screenings.
SuperKino HD was launched on October 1, 2013 and includes five movie channels in HD.
It costs R5,400 (€111.5) as year and can be received by subscribers living within the Eutelsat 36B footprint.
It will also become available to viewers in Siberia once the Express-AT1 satellite, launched on March 16, becomes activated.
